Alliance Celebrates Intertribal Earth Day

After two long years, our team was thrilled to once again celebrate Intertribal Earth Day amongst 500 friends and partners at the beautiful La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians campground. Thank you to the Intertribal Earth Day hosts for another great event!

After two long years, the Climate Science Alliance team was thrilled to once again celebrate Intertribal Earth Day amongst 500 friends and partners at the beautiful La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians campground. The theme for this zero-waste, Tribal community event was “Taking Action for Our Earth: Healthy People, Healthy Planet.”

The Alliance team had a great time sharing Climate Kids resources, including our Climate Kids Book Club program and DIY bookmark activity station. We couldn’t have done it without the help of incredible volunteers from Wildcoast’s Coastal Leaders Internship program—thank you!

Thank you to the Intertribal Earth Day hosts for another great event. It was an honor to participate and help plan this important community event!
