Climate Kids Art on Display at Balboa Park through December!

The Balboa Park Sustainability Program is hosting a Sustainability Studio in the Balboa Park Spanish Village Art Center to highlight the Park’s green initiatives and partnerships. The studio features art created by children in the Climate Science Alliance’s Climate Kids program – combining environmental science education with art. The studio provides visitors an opportunity to learn about the Park’s LEED certified buildings and sustainability-themed museum exhibits. Activities include making a personal pledge for the good of the environment to add to the Tree of Change, offsetting greenhouse gas emissions through The Good Traveler program, and even going on a self-guided Balboa Park sustainability scavenger hunt to win a prize! The exhibit is free and open to the public 11 a.m.-4 p.m. every day from October through December.
