At this year’s Expo Ambiente, 56 Climate Kids-Mexico (CKM) student ambassadors led two interactive workshops and a “Pasarela” fashion show, reaching over 2,000 students throughout the two-day event. Our CKM program and its program manager Profesora Martha Aidé Escalante Garcia won third place, and students from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California led by our partner Anna Lucia won 2nd place for their workshops on plastic and wildlife.

The 23rd annual Expo Ambiente, organized by the Secretariat of Environmental Protection (SPA), was held on October 18-19 at the El Trompo Museum in Baja California and invited the community to participate in environmental education and natural habitat care activities. CKM ambassadors led four workshops divided into two modules: Climate Science and the Biodiversity of Baja California.

The Alliance is so proud of our Baja partners and the CKM student ambassadors who are leading the way in their community!
