Climate Kids Mexico students continue summer water monitoring project

This summer a group of Climate Kids Mexico students from CBTis 146 in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico will be spending their days learning about the water quality in their own backyard. // Este verano, un grupo de estudiantes de Climate Kids México, de CBTis 146 en playas de Tijuana van a pasar sus días de verano aprendiendo sobre la calidad del agua en sus propias comunidades.


The Climate Kids Mexico students from CBTis 146 in Playas de Tijuana are continuing their local water quality project this summer—this time in the lab. The students took the samples they recently collected in the field back to the lab to analyze the samples in more detail. Throughout the summer the students will learn how to interpret the water quality results, and what that means for the health of their community and the natural environment.

El grupo de estudiantes de Climate Kids México de CBTis 146 en Playas de Tijuana continúan su proyecto de verano sobre la calidad del agua local—ahora desde el laboratorio. Los estudiantes tomaron las muestras recientemente recolectadas en la costa al laboratorio para analizarlas en más detalle. A lo largo del verano, los estudiantes aprenderán cómo interpretar los resultados de calidad del agua, y que significa para la salud de su comunidad y el medio ambiente.
