Climate Kids-Mexico Team Contributes to Binational Friendship Garden Workshop

Climate Kids-Mexico Project Lead Anna Lucia López-Avedoy recently contributed to a community workshop at the Binational Friendship Garden in Tijuana.



Climate Kids-Mexico Project Lead Anna Lucia López-Avedoy recently contributed to a workshop offered by the Binational United for Children Committee and Tijuana Municipal Social Development Directorate at the Binational Friendship Garden in Tijuana.



In collaboration with Green Nation, Binational Friendship Garden, and A La NaTOURaleza, Anna Lucia met with leaders from the Laureles, Summits and Angels Community Centers. Attendees had the opportunity to observe a tree planting demonstration, participate in a guided discussion on how to interpret native flora, and hear about the efforts of the Climate Science Alliance and Climate Kids program.



 

Climate Kids - Mexico is a collaborative partnership focused on community-driven outreach, workshops, and environmental stewardship activities in Tijuana and Northern Baja California.
