Resources Available from Climate Communications Training

On June 15th, the Alliance partnered with the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Sea Life Aquarium at Legoland to provide a climate change communications training for local environmental educators. The Strategic Framing of Climate Change Conversations training was based on the framework and techniques developed as part of the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Intepretation project (NNOCCI). Participants learned about how strategic framing elements, when put together, tell a story about climate change that can help communicators to engage audiences in positive ways.
